Common Services Centres (CSC) are access points, set up under the Digital India programme of the Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology, that deliver e-governance and other digital services to citizens, especially in rural and remote areas.
TEC stands for Telecentre Entrepreneur Course. It's the certification assessment run through CSC Academy for CSC VLEs and aspiring VLEs, made up of a set of online assessments followed by a final exam.
You should be an Indian citizen, at least 18 years old, with a minimum of 10th-standard pass and basic computer knowledge.
Generally your Aadhaar card, education certificate, a valid email ID and mobile number, and your CSC registration details.
Registration is done online through the official CSC Academy portal (register.cscacademy.in). Once registered, you can complete the required assessments and then attempt the final exam.
The final exam carries 50 marks, and you need 25 marks (50%) to pass. There's no negative marking.
